Dash for Diabetes – 5K Run/Walk
Missouri State Medial Association Medical Student Section presents the 3nd Annual Dash for Diabetes-5K Run/walk benefiting the Kansas City Free Health Clinic. The event is on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2009 at Shawnee Mission Park. Last year, we had over 100 runners and raised over $1000 for the KC Free Clinic. This year, we hope to raise even more money and support! There will also be a Health Care Fair for adults and children. Adults can learn about Diabetes and other prevalent diseases, while the children can engage in fun and educational activities.

There will also be door
prizes for those who participate in the Health Care Fair.
