Dash for Diabetes – 5K Run/Walk
Missouri State Medial Association Medical Student Section presents the 2nd Annual Dash for Diabetes-5K Run/walk benefiting the Kansas City Free Health Clinic. The event is on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2008 at Shawnee Mission Park. Children can participate in our 1K Fun-Run/walk. Last year, we had over 100 runners and rose over $1000 for the KC Free Clinic. This year, we hope to raise even more money and support! There will also be a Health Care Fair for adults and children. Adults can learn about Diabetes and other prevalent diseases, while the children can engage in fun and educational activities.
